Could 2022 be the best year yet for Valentine's releases? With only a few weeks to go, the special-edition pairs seem to be coming thick and fast, and it looks like brands are pulling out all the stops this year. Rumoured to be dropping within Nike’s Valentine's line-up is the Air Jordan 1 Low “Pomegranate,” a low-top version of the matching AJ1 Mid, which was originally thought to be dropping around Christmas.
Dressed in an all-red tone, the “Pomegranate” Jordan 1 Low suits the February holiday just as well as the December one. Valentine’s Day drops are often painted in pinks and reds, and although there are no explicit V-Day details, given the impending release of the Mid it’s extremely likely that it'll drop very soon.
Constructed from soft leather uppers and pretty patent “University Red” overlays, the AJ1 Low “Pomegranate” also features a large red jelly Swoosh for added detailing. Aside from a crisp white midsole, red-on-red tones take over the whole shoe, so the Jordan 1 branding is also done up in tonal shading.
Now that the official images of the “Pomegranate” Air Jordan 1 Low have been released, it's looking like a Valentine's drop is very much on the cards. If you're looking to cop a pair, be sure to download our app and turn those release reminders on to make sure you don't miss out!
