As we take a trip down memory lane with The Last Dance, we're now revisiting the time Michael Jordan teamed up with none other than McDonalds for the iconic "Nothin' But New" ad campaign. Considered by many to be the greatest Super Bowl spot of all time, the Air Jordan 1 Low "Sweater" focuses on one aspect of the '93 commercial, and it's in the name.
Working on a clean white leather base, the first thing that you'll probably notice about the "Sweater" is the whacky upper that's done up in a retro print. Influenced by MJ's crewneck top in the ad, the purple, red, and yellow zig zags can clearly be seen throughout.
Everything else on the other hand is kept surprisingly minimal, with tumbled leather gracing the ankle and Nike Swoosh, and the signature winged basketball motif stitched in red at the heel, finishing off the show stopping design.
A release date for the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low "Sweater" has yet to be officially confirmed, but with the insane amount of hype surrounding the silhouette at the moment we wouldn't be surprised if they dropped soon. Let us know if you'd add these to your collection, and in related news, the Air Jordan 1 Low "Gym Red" is still available!
