The Air Jordan 4 "Military Blue" From 1989 is Making a Comeback Next Year

There is absolutely no doubt in anyone's mind that the AJ4 is one of the most popular sneakers ever made. Following the release of future icons like the "Taupe Haze", "University Blue", and "White Oreo", it looks like Jordan Brand will be bringing back one of the most legendary colourways with the Air Jordan 4 "Military Blue"!

A rumour that has been making its rounds since last summer, the "Military Blue", which made its on-court debut back in February 1989, was and still is one of the most iconic AJ4s ever made. Designed for Michael Jordan by Tinker Hatfield himself, it works on a clean white leather base with bold blue accents featuring throughout. Buttery smooth suede graces the mudguards while the model's signature mesh panels adorn the lateral and medial sides.

While the colourway was retroed in 2006 and then in 2012, both of these failed to bring back the world-renowned "Nike Air" heel tab. With that said, it looks like this upcoming restock will keep it true to the original, featuring the rubberised badge that we all know and love.
