One of the boldest Jordan 4 colourways ever released is making a comeback.
Over thirteen years after its original debut, the Air Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo” is rumoured to return in Summer 2026, just in time for the silhouette’s 40th anniversary build-up. This has been a colourway which - alongside the “Green Glows” - has been one of the most requested retros of the past few years. Now, according to sneaker leaker @zsneakerheadz, it looks like our wishes are finally being granted.
Originally launching back in 2013, the Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo” brought a punchy Fire Red nubuck upper to the classic Jordan 4 shape, paired with black wings, Cement Grey accents, and a white midsole. While the colour blocking was relatively straightforward, it was the unapologetically loud upper that made this pair an instant fan-favourite.
Staying true to Jordan Brand’s links to the Chicago Bulls, the “Toro Bravo” was seen as everything a modern release of a heritage classic should be. Faithful to the history of the shoe whilst still offering a contemporary twist. After all, this bold red colourway dropped a year before the Yeezy Red October caused hysteria in the sneaker scene.
With rumours around the 2026 release now taking shape, there are two questions on our mind. Will this retro release use the modern AJ4 shape? Will we see the Jordan heel tab replaced by “Nike Air”? Official images are still to be seen but if you don’t want to miss out on this drop make sure you hit that ‘Notify Me’ button and keep locked into The Sole Supplier.
