Originally released back in 1990, the AJ5 is and always will be one of the most iconic Michael Jordan sneakers out there. While 2020 celebrated the shoe's 30th anniversary, it looks like 2021 may be an even bigger year as we take our first ever look at the Air Jordan 5 "Jade Horizon".
While this is just an early mock-up for now, it's actually pretty accurate. With an all-suede upper that's dipped in a clean green hue, rose pink accents descend upon the lace toggle and Jumpman embroidery on the tongue. Speaking of which, the Air Jordan 5's tongue is doused in a silver 3M coating that's reflects light in low light conditions, meaning that you can flex your latest cop no matter the time of day.
Down below, a P-51 fighter jet-inspired Nike Air midsole is present complete with the flame detailing at the sides, and this is rounded off with an icy blue rubber outsole, giving it that classic AJ5 aesthetic that we can't help but to fall for.
If you need the Nike Air Jordan 5 "Jade Horizon" in your life, then it's expected to drop sometime in autumn 2021. Let us know what you think of this upcoming colourway, and in related news, the CLOT x Air Jordan 14 Low has been unveiled!
