Updated 18th January, 2026: Nike just dropped official shots of the Air Max 95 “Olympic.” While Beaverton remains tight lipped on a concrete date, expect these to land during the Spring/Summer 2026 window.
To stay ahead of the game, fire up The Sole Supplier app and tap that 'Notify me' bell to catch the drop the second it goes live.
Original Story: Thirty years young and still turning heads; that's the legendary Nike Air Max 95 for you. And there’s word on the street, straight from the sneaker oracle Brendan Dunne over at Complex, that the birthday bash is stretching all the way into 2026 with some serious heat dropping.
Mark your calendars, folks, because between January and March of next year, we're getting a glorious comeback: the "Olympic" Air Max 95! For those who know their sneaker history, you'll remember this absolute banger from way back in '04. The timing couldn't be more perfect, lining up with the Winter Games in Italy.
This sneaker is a colour explosion in the best way possible. Imagine the Olympic rings' colours: that vibrant "Chile Red," that deep "Photo Blue," that lush "Green," and that sunny "Yellow,” splashed across those iconic side panels and lace loops. It's a full on colour explosion that just screams energy. Then you've got that clean "White" hitting the forefoot, midsole, tongue, and lining, letting those bold hues truly pop. And don't forget those crucial "Black" accents that keep everything grounded. The cherry on top? A gleaming "Metallic Gold" Swoosh on the heel, a nod to that ultimate winner's medal.
If Nike stays true to form, and all signs point to yes, we can expect that glorious Big Bubble Air unit to be cushioning our every step, just like the original. And get this, there's even talk of special packaging and some interesting activations to bring that '04 look back in a way that previous retros haven't quite nailed.
We haven't seen the official pics yet, but the anticipation is building. These are expected to drop on Nike.com and the SNKRS app for £175.
So, what do you think? Are you as stoked as we are for the return of these legendary Air Max 95s? Keep following The Sole Supplier for all the latest from the world of sneakers and more.
