The New Balance 2002R is making big waves this year. Following collaborations with Joe Freshgoods and The Basement, atmos Creative Director Hirofumi Kojima has now taken to Instagram to tease the atmos x New Balance 2002R, and while not much is known about it, it's safe to say that we are extremely hyped for this collaboration.
Arriving in an ultra clean palette, atmos' 2002R is a melody of materials. Working on top of a cream pony hair base, crisp white mesh panels hit the ankle and toebox, while soft blue leather can be found on the mudguards. Of course, you can't talk about this New Balance without mentioning the tonal grey suede panelling throughout. While this is certainly nothing groundbreaking especially when it comes to the Boston-based brand, it's peppered with little footprints from rats. This peculiar theme is further emphasised on the shoe's insole where you'll find a rotund rodent printed in black.
That's pretty much everything we know about the atmos x New Balance 2002R "Grey Rat" at this moment in time, so make sure you hit the "Notify me" button to be kept up-to-date. Let us know what you think of this upcoming collaboration, and in related news, the Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002R comes with removable logos!
