The New Balance 2002R is a silhouette from the Boston brand that gained mass attention over the last two years, notably through premium profiles and covetable colourways. Today, the fan-favourite lifestyle model will be taking on both aspects and calling in renowned contemporary artist Bryant Giles for a touch-up.
The Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002R collaboration offers the pair with canvas-like material throughout, which is not very common from the silhouette as it is often manufactured with suede or leather overlays atop mesh materials.

All the panels sport an olive green/khaki tone throughout, even covering the tongues and shoelaces but leaving the N-ergy midsole unit underfoot in a vintage cream hue. What makes this design from the Chicago-bred creative is the removable "N" logos on the sides and his signature art style in the form of facial features embroidered in various colours externally and imprinted on the insoles as they would appear in galleries.
The Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002R "Olive Green" is a must-have for die-hard NB collectors.
