adidas continues its legacy of collaborations with Japanese streetwear icon BAPE, unveiling two fresh iterations of the adidas Superstar alongside a range of apparel and accessories. This latest collection drops on 31st March, and anticipation is massive!
Over the years, BAPE and adidas have delivered numerous standout footwear collaborations, cementing the partnership as one of the most enduring in the industry. Among these efforts, the iconic Superstar has been reimagined in various ways, including a notable BOOST equipped version created with Japanese label NEIGHBORHOOD.
Originally released in 1969, the Superstar has become one of adidas’ most recognisable and influential sneakers. Recently, it has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity. This collection elevates the classic silhouette with BAPE’s signature camouflage pattern embossed on the leather, gold ape head logos on the heels, and dual branded lacelocks.
For a unique touch, branding is reversed between the left and right shoes: the left shoe features adidas’ three stripes on the lateral side and BAPE’s star logo on the medial side, while the right shoe flips this design.
Offered in two striking colourways, white/black and blue/white; the BAPE x adidas Superstars will retail for £140. The white/black version will also be available in infant sizes.
The collaboration extends beyond footwear to include an array of apparel and accessories, featuring track suits, T shirts, full zip hoodies, caps, side bags, and socks. Tap the bell icon, and we’ll let you know as soon as these are up for grabs.
