The BAPE x adidas Superstar Surfaces with Mismatched Logos

Recently unveiled by the aforementioned duo themselves, this upcoming Superstar is made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of adidas' 1969 classic basketball shell shoes and not only do we have a single iteration but also joined with another variant that resonates more with Nigo's fascination with military camouflage prints.

Taking a closer look at the helm of the collaboration, it comes dressed in crisp white and stark black leather panels. Elsewhere, the sportswear label’s instantly-recognisable three stripes adorn what would traditionally be both sides, only grace one instead while the other end flaunts the Japanese streetwear staple’s signature shooting star logo, overall giving the silhouette a mismatching style. If that's not enough, further alternating co-branding details feature on the tongue, insoles, and heel alike. The sneaker is then accentuated with shimmering gold accents that adorn labellings on the tongue and sidewalls, metallic lace dubrae upfront, complete with branded lace tips and cream-tinted midsole beneath the feet for a vintage aesthetic.

As for the counterpart, all are kept the same apart from overlays predominantly blacked-out while the rest showcase BAPE's signature camo prints in various colours randomly placed throughout.
