Back in May, we reported that the iconic CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "Kiss Of Death" was making a comeback. The brainchild of Hong Kong multi-hyphenate Edison Chen and legendary artist MC Yan, this three-way collaboration made its debut back in 2006 to celebrate the opening of China's first sneaker boutique, ACU. As if that wasn't exciting enough, rumour has it that it'll be returning in two more colourways as well!
Leaks courtesy of reputable sneaker insider @py_rates, the CLOT AM1 takes the idea of "chi" and infuses it with one of the most famous Nike silhouettes ever made. With an ultra premium leather and suede construction, the highlight of the collab has got to be the acupuncture-inspired insole that's proudly displayed via a series of transparent panels that make their way around the upper.
As well as the usual "Net" colour scheme that we all know and love, the KOD will also be arriving in "Medium Brown" and "Cool Grey" hues. Each one will be accented with red tones, while Chen's signature emblem graces the heel, finalising the design.
Expected to launch sometime in Spring 2021, the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "Kiss Of Death" is already being coined as one of the most anticipated partnerships of next year, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops!
