The Converse Chuck 70 "Upcycled" Pack Repurposes Unwanted Factory Scraps

Converse’s recently launched Renew line aims to put a stop to unwanted waste products by repurposing factory scraps into entirely new products. For it’s latest project, the line has turned raw, undyed canvas scraps into the ever-popular Chuck 70 model. Both high and low-top versions have been created, and we’re pretty stunned with how clean it looks!

The scraps themselves come in Converse’s signature “Egret” hue, and are made up from a blend of virgin cotton and organic cotton for a natural-looking and durable construction. Converse’s signature Star logo is decked out in the same colour for a monochromatic look, while the midsole does away with the usual stripes, looking cleaner than ever.

Both the high and low-top versions take on the understated colourway perfectly, especially as they’re designed to age naturally over time and present a well-loved and worn-in look. Renew branding is located at the rear rubber tab and makes for a premium touch to the pairs, therefore we wouldn’t be surprised to see more of this line in the near future!
