UNIQLO is no stranger when it comes to collaborations with influential artists. After teaming up with KAWS and Takashi Murakami, the Japanese casual wear brand has now tapped Daniel Arsham for the Daniel Arsham x Pokémon x UNIQLO "Fictional Archaeology" Collection, and it's set to launch tomorrow!
Notable for it being one of the first collabs of this calibre, the "Fictional Archaeology" capsule showcases some of your favourite Pocket Monsters as sculptures dated 1,000 years from now. Comprising of seven T-shirts, each made for men, women and children, crystallised illustrations are printed right in the centre of each piece.
From Pikachu to Mewtwo, the graphics stand as pieces of wearable art, based on the philosophy of Relics of Kanto Through Time. They're all finished off with the American artist's signature and dated with "3020".
Dropping tomorrow on April 30th at the UNIQLO webstore, the Daniel Arsham x Pokémon x UNIQLO "Fictional Archaeology" Collection is sure to sell out within minutes, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier if you want to get your hands on these. Let us know which tee you'll be copping, and in other streetwear news, the Palace "NHS TRI-TO HELP" Collection supports the NHS!
