Mule season is well and truly underway, and no one is doing it better than Dr. Martens. Having already stormed the scene with both the Carlson and the Jorge, the Northampton-based brand has added another style to its roster. The Dr. Martens Isham Mule takes the slingback style to a whole new level, so here’s why they deserve a spot in your shoedrobe.
Halfway between a sandal and a shoe, the Dr. Martens Isham Mule puts a focus on premium materials and is named after a small village in Northampton, where the Docs factory remains operational to this day. Shown here in “Sandy Tan”, the pair’s upper arrived in a nappy beige suede, and features antique gold buckles for a premium finish. This is the perfect pair for dressing both up and down, and you can wear the strap across the mule or around the ankle depending on whether you’re after a more secure or relaxed fit.
If you love the Isham's shape but want something a little more out there, then you’ll be pleased to know the style also comes in a cow print finish. Instead of suede, this pair is built from hair on leather, resulting in a silky soft texture and an ultra-premium feel. Featuring a printed-on brown cow detailing, these aren’t for the faint-hearted, but if you’re looking to create that Lower East Side-style TikTok trend, then these are definitely the pair for you.
Whichever colourway you opt for, we’re picturing endless styling options. Wide-leg trousers, denim or white flowy skirts would all go down a treat. If you’re looking for more inspo, keep an eye out on The Sole Womens’ channels, and hit the links below the pics in this article to get your hands on the Dr. Martens Isham Mules.
