It's hard to believe that the fragment design x sacai x Nike LDWaffle first leaked a whole 13 months ago. Teased by the legendary Hiroshi Fujiwara himself, the hotly anticipated collaboration is finally dropping tomorrow in two colourways - and here's absolutely everything that we know so far!
Arriving in "Blue Void" and "Wolf Grey" colourways, the LDWaffles seamlessly integrate Fujiwara's love of clean complementary colourways with Abe's desire for delightful deconstruction. Working on top of a breathable mesh base, buttery suede graces the heel, lacing system, and toebox, while pebbled leather elements can be found on the back tab and Nike Swooshes along the lateral and medial side panels.
Plenty of co-branded detailing can be found throughout so you know for sure that this isn't any old sneaker, and on top of all of this, the godfather of streetwear has applied technical verbiage to both sides of the Waffle midsole. This design cue was recently implemented to the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 High as well as the fragment design x Nike Dunk High "Beijing".
