The fragment design x sacai x Nike LDWaffle is Actually Releasing

When the fragment design x sacai x Nike LDWaffle first leaked last summer, the sneaker world literally stood still. A three-way collaboration between Hiroshi Fujiwara, Chitose Abe, and of course, the Beaverton brand, they were spotted on the feet of the godfather of streetwear in a selfie with Breakfast Club Tokyo's Kunichi Nomura. If you were one of the many who didn't think this shoe would see the light of day, it look like they'll actually be releasing this season!

The fragment x sacai LDWaffle is painted in the former's iconic navy and white colour scheme on top of the latter's signature deconstructed aesthetic. Like Abe's latest and greatest high heat hybrids, not only will you find double the lacing systems, you'll also find double the midsoles, heel badges, and of course, Nike Swooshes that shoot elegantly across the lateral and medial side panels.

Co-branded detailing arrives on the dual tongue setup, and to round it all off, Fujiwara's legendary lightning bolt motif is finely debossed across the suede toebox, finalising the design.

According to a slew of reputable sources including @soleheatonfeet and @zsneakerheadz, the fragment design x sacai x Nike LDWaffle is set to launch sometime in Spring 2021.
