In the past, we’ve had the winterised sneakerboot edition AM95 in 2016, pairs that were doing numbers on Instagram back in the day. But, that was for good reason, as the update meant 95s could be worn throughout the stodgy winter months.

Although, that didn’t stop real steppers from wearing their Max 95s during rainy days, having to firm the occasional bit of rain water trickling through the forefoot netting on their triple blacks. Wet socks were a small price to pay for coming correct.

Now, with the arrival of the GORE-TEX 110s, choosing between staying dry and rocking your favourite Air Max no longer needs to be separate. Sneakerheads and scousers have been asking Nike for a GORE-TEX version for what seems like ages, with 2026 finally being the year those wishes came true.

Plus, the “Triple Black” colourway is as cold as we all thought it would be, maybe a little better if we’re being honest. As for the white pair, it just goes to show how serious the upcoming GORE-TEX Air Max 95s are going to be. We know that the “OG Neon” GORE-TEX number is going to be top bins, but we’ll wait and see if Nike fancies bringing out that legendary palette one more time.

The GORE-TEX x Nike Air Max 95 editions are going to be landing on the Nike website and select retailers on 29th of October, however given the update, don’t be surprised if retail hits £185.

So, even with any shipping delays, we should have them in time to lace up for the wetter weeks in November and December.
