If you're a big fan of Japanese streetwear staple A Bathing Ape, aka BAPE, we have no doubts you're familiar with NIGO, the founder. But after he departed from the label over eight years ago now, there's no denying that NIGO's creativity goes beyond just shark hoodies and camo-plastered apparel, and we can see this from what his brand Human Made has to offer. Working in partnership with the Three Stripes brand, the designer-slash-DJ and adidas revisits an archived silhouette and revamps it with a Boost midsole—now dubbed the Human Made x adidas EQT Racing 91/16! We've got a closer look at some teaser images courtesy of @hypeneverdies, so read on for more!
The adidas EQT is a silhouette that debuted in the early '90s, went into the archive, and returned to the shelves at some point in 2017. Since then, it has received a few modifications, titled with new names like the adidas EQT Support ADV, EQT Cushion ADV, and many others.

As for this co-branded iteration with Human Made, it keeps the OG design of the EQT Racing 91/16 model, but swaps out the midsole unit for a full-length adidas Boost midsole, which we know is unmatched when it comes to comfort. The ensemble appears to be launching in two colourways, one donning an aqua-blue hue, while the other opts for a much stealthier setup with muted tones. Completing the coveted collab is Human Made’s signature heart logo and the “Gears For Futuristic Teenagers” slogan imprinted on the side panels.
The Human Made x adidas EQT Racing 91/16 has not been given an official release date, but if you keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier, we can notify you of all the latest adidas releases. In similar news, the adidas Forum Low "Cloud White" is the perfect summer kicks!
