Last summer, Kanye West took to Twitter to unveil a mysterious clog. Bearing a striking resemblance to the Foam RNNR that's slowly but surely taking over sneaker collections everywhere, this was later revealed to be a joint collaboration with New York Knicks' Derrick Rose. While there was certainly a lot of hype surrounding the Kanye West x Derrick Rose "YZY Rose" in the beginning, we were met with half a year of radio silence... until now, that is.
On April 1st, Rose took to Instagram to express his gratitude for Kanye and the Yeezy brand. While this was first considered to be an April Fool's prank, the wording and context seems to state otherwise.

Unlike anything else out there, the YZY Rose features a unique ribbed design that's crafted from an all-foam construction for an insanely plush fit. A smooth toebox adds a dash of minimalism to the otherwise maximalist look, while a simple slit at the top allows wearers to slip in and out with ease. An extended pull tab around the back provides added structure and support, finalising the truly crazy design.
Kanye West has never been one to hold back when it comes to his adidas sneakers, but the Kanye West x Derrick Rose "YZY Rose" pushes the envelope to the next level. As soon as a release date is announced we'll be the first to let you know, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know what you think of this clog, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN "Blue Tint"!
