Following the release of the atmos x adidas ZX 8000 last month, we're now continuing along with the Three Stripes' A-ZX line-up with the nostalgia-inducing LEGO x adidas ZX 8000. Teased via a short forty second clip, the video doesn't give anything away, but we know we're in for a throwback treat.
Beginning with a fragile cardboard box, the contents are tipped out to reveal adidas' signature blue shoebox in a brick-like shape. This then floats into the air to reveal another box that's constructed from hundreds of multicoloured bricks.
The ZX 8000 itself then peeks out, revealing a shoe that's painted in the Danish toy company's signature colour palette. With a ribbed white mesh upper, cream suede arrives along the lacing system. LEGO's classic red hue hits the tongue and the heel is done up with interlocking features similar to the bricks themselves. To round it all off, the usual "ZX Torsion" lace catcher has been replaced with a single green piece, finalising the design.
An official release date has yet to be announced for the LEGO x adidas ZX 8000, but we can imagine it's going to be pretty soon. Let us know if you'll be copping or dropping, and in related news, more release info just surfaced for the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas ZX 8000 "Super Earth"!
