The Margielyn Didal x New Balance Numeric 272 "Puso" Pays Homage to a Filipino Snack

So with the help of renowned Filipino street skateboarder Margielyn Didal, the Numeric 272 skate shoes have finally landed straight from the Philippines and exhibit a cultural outfit that pays homage to a traditional Filipino snack.

Titled the Margielyn Didal x New Balance Numeric 272 "Puso", the low-top shoes are outfitted in black suede tooling forefoot and the quarter mesh segments in a light khaki/tan colourway with cross-weave patterns mimicking a Cebuano rice snack called Puso. The graphic insole also portrays this delicious coconut leaf-wrapped rice cake.

Didal grew up in a neighbourhood where she would sell Puso next to a skatepark, so these commemorative skate shoes are hands down the perfect shoe. Completing the co-branded offering is the skater's initials on the right heel panel, while the left shoe depicts Cebu's zip code which is 032.
