The New Balance 2002R "Protection Pack" is regarded by many sneakerheads to be one of the hottest collections to drop in a very long time. Comprising of three simple yet striking shades, many believe that its sheer popularity helped propel NB into the hype machine that it is today. Just as you were about to give up hope with copping, we're now getting news that more colourways are coming soon - so let's take our first look!
Images courtesy of reputable Japanese sneaker site Fullress, new "Navy" and "Grey" pairs will be added to the mix. Created by esteemed footwear designer Charlotte Lee, the result is an imperfectly perfect composition that seems to fall inline with the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi. The first one is dipped in a selection of deep blue hues, while the second opts for a more versatile palette that may just about rival the "Rain Cloud" from last year.
Every suede panel has been deconstructed for a look that is sure to turn heads, and some parts of the New Balance sneaker are left unfinished for an even more avant-garde aesthetic. A highly-sculped N-ERGY midsole sits down below for unparelleled cushioning and response, and the design is finalised with an Italicised "N" that's finely stitched across the laterals and medials, rounding everything off.
Not much else is known about these new New Balance 2002R "Protection Pack" colourways for now, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know which pair you're feeling the most, and in related news, the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 2002R "Conversations Amongst Us" is in the works!
