The New Balance CT302 "Moonbeam Pink" Is Giving Barbiecore Vibes

With tennis style trending hard off the back of Wimbledon this month, and Barbiecore dominating our FYP, Boston-based New Balance has given its CT302 sneaker a summery new update. Born from its classic CT300 sneaker, an 80s on-court model, the CT302 has been making waves since its launch in 2022, and has now arrived boasting pops of hot pink.

Working on top of the classic silhouette, the “Moonbeam Pink” New Balance CT302 modernises its predecessor with new, exaggerated proportions and fun detailing. A wavy rubber toe wrap hugs the forefoot, while a stacked-up cupsole adds a little extra height. The same fluid linework also appears on the heel, where a pink heel tab comes cut in a cute, curved design. This bright pink shade also dresses the exaggerated ‘N’ logos on the sidewalls, and the CT302 branding on the insoles - so yes, we’ll be wearing our pair to the Barbie movie this weekend.
