As we approach the silhouettes rumoured April release date, fans are being treated to new images of the Nike LeBron 17 “Air Command Force”. Paying homage to Billy Hoyle’s on-court favourite, LeBron’s new design is nostalgic, retro and super functional.
The upper of the shoe is crafted from knitted fabric that’s ultra-flexible and panels of colourful threads are added to make the design pop. A neon green midsole perfectly complements the colour of the embroidery on the tongue and an oversized tab on the heel makes them easy to get on and off.
Inspired by Billy Hoyle himself, the embroidered ‘LeBron’ lettering on the tongue comes in the exact same colour and font as that seen on the Command Force. The fabric and laces come in the same white hue and just beneath the top lace we can see perforations that, presumably, are added to enhance breathability and keep the wearer cool and comfortable.
We expect official images of the Nike LeBron 17 “Air Command Force” to drop soon alongside an official release date! But for now, rumour has it that this design will drop on or around the 17th April. So, keep it locked into The Sole Supplier to be the first to know about more updates surrounding this release and more Nike drops.
In other news, check out the official imagery of the new Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Court Purple”.
