The Next Pharrell Williams x adidas NMD Hu Won't Have a Trail Sole

Can you believe that it's been almost a year since the last Pharrell Williams x adidas NMD Hu? A silhouette that manages to change the game every single time it drops, we've really been feeling the Hu blues lately. With that said, it looks like Skateboard P has another pair in the works, and as the title suggests, he's fully removed that Trail outsole.

Unlike any NMD Human Race that we've seen before, the Primeknit upper has been fully reworked to feature a ribbed aesthetic. Chinese characters are finely embroidered across the vamp in black, while a dash of soft pink arrives around the heel. The lacing system has also been retouched. Usually you'd find that this takes on a solid block colour, but for this version it looks like it's been given the semi-transparent treatment that's all the rage these days.

Moving down below, you'll find the classic adidas Boost midsole underfoot, but interestingly enough the Trail outsole is no more. First introduced in 2017's "Trail Pack", sneakerheads have developed a love-hate relationship with this feature, so many of you will be glad to hear that it's finally been removed.

While not much else is known about the next Pharrell Williams x adidas NMD Hu at this moment in time, rumour has it that they'll land sometime in early 2021, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops!
