The Nice Kicks x adidas NMD R1 marked the first collaboration ever to grace the legendary Nomad silhouette. Released back in 2016, it remains as one of the most iconic Three Stripes sneakers ever made. As we head towards its fifth anniversary, it looks like the San Fran-based boutique has something secret up its sleeve as we get our first look at the Nice Kicks x adidas Ultra Boost!
Mock-ups courtesy of House Of Heat, this isn't the first time that NK has reworked the Ultra Boost, but it's very clear to see that it's inspired by the "Tie Dye" from half a decade prior. Featuring the exact same red and white pattern as the aforementioned model, this makes its way across the entire Primeknit upper, while a matte black cage and heel cup offer extra support and structure.

Shifting your focus down below, you'll find a full length adidas Boost midsole that's still as comfortable as ever, and just like the original pair, a healthy dose of gum rubber lines the cushioning unit, finalising the world-renowned design.
A release date has yet to be officially confirmed, but with the anniversary set for June 2nd, we wouldn't be too surprised if the Nice Kicks x adidas Ultra Boost landed on that exact same date! Let us know if you'll be grabbing a pair, and just in case you didn't know already, the adidas NMD R1 OG is making a comeback at adidas!
