The Nice Kicks x adidas Ultra Boost Is Inspired By The Woodstock Festival

Back in February 2016, the sneaker world was introduced to the Nice Kicks x adidas NMD R1. Marking the first ever Nomad collaboration since the model debuted one year prior, it paid tribute to San Francisco's '60s hippie movement with a red and black tie-dye pattern that's made to turn heads. Now, fast forward three years, the power duo have reunited for yet another fire Boost sneaker, this time for the Nice Kicks x adidas Ultra Boost!

Images courtesy of @complexsneakers, the collaborative UB is unlike anything we've seen before. Inspired by the legendary Woodstock music festival in 1969, this special release celebrates fifty years since the "3 Days of Peace & Music"; was held in Max Yasgur's dairy farm in Bethel, New York.

Featuring a rainbow coloured tie-dye pattern that sweeps the entire Primeknit upper, the midfoot cage has been given the translucent treatment so you can see the intricate multicoloured design in all its glory.

Clean white accents make their way to the laces and heel cup, and down below, you'll find a full length Boost midsole for comfort that's truly unrivalled. This is lined with a Continental gum rubber outsole for extra durability and traction. To round it all off, co-branded detailing makes its way to the tongues, with Nice Kick's signature red speech bubble gracing the right shoe, and the iconic adidas logo printed on the left one.

At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the Nice Kicks x adidas Ultra Boost. That being said, Woodstock was held from August 15th to August 18th, so we could expect a release around these dates.
