The Nike Adapt LE 01 is Previewed in a New Grey Colourway

Nike Adapt
By Jack Aldrich • Content Writer • 12 Mar

The Nike Adapt LE 01 was first previewed earlier this month, and now a second clean-looking colourway has surfaced on Instagram, hinting that a release date may be fast approaching us!

While originally the futuristic model was showcased in an obviously infrared-inspired colourway, this new rendition showcases a neutral grey upper that’s then complemented with a warm orange midsole and detailing. The upper presents clear inspiration from the iconic Nike Mag’s that were seen in the cult classic film Back to the Future 2.

The pair feature Nike’s innovative self-lacing technology that has caused quite the stir since it was first introduced in 2016 on the HyperAdapt. The lacing system is tightened or loosened via two push-buttons that are concealed in the midsole, allowing the wearer to achieve optimum comfort by tailoring the fit perfectly.

Nike’s signature Swoosh logo features on both the lateral and medial sides, while an embellished Air Max badge is located on the tongue, signifying the Adapt LE 01 as the first Adapt model to feature a visible air unit.

If you’re as keen as we are on the Nike Adapt LE 01, it seems for now you’ll have to sit tight as no official release date has been announced. Make sure to stay locked into The Sole Supplier for the latest news and updates as they unfold. While you’re here, check out the Air Max 90 Infrared that’s due to return later this year!
