The Nike Air Force 1 Crater "Light Bone" is Both Stylish and Sustainable

With so many sneakers releasing this year, it’s great to see brands taking a step towards more sustainable processes with some of their releases. Nike have been making big moves in the sneaker and sportswear space with the continuation of their Move to Zero initiative, and that doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. The latest addition to their eco-friendly sneaker line-up is the Nike Air Force 1 Crater "Light Bone", which shows off the shoe's recycled elements in a pretty pastel colourway.

On the face of it, this pink and cream hued Air Force 1 Crater looks pretty similar to the classic AF1 we all know and love, but a few key differences set it apart from the original. The AF1 Crater’s upper is made up of tonal white and "Bone" panels, and a leather Nike Swoosh has been swapped out for a plush pink one.

The classic Air Force 1 sole has been reimagined for the Crater AF1, with a speckled white and grey version made from Nike’s innovative Grind technology taking its place. Nike’s Move to Zero Pinwheel logo also features on the Volt insole, and decorates the back of the heel tab, finishing the pair in a way that suitably celebrates their sustainable make-up.
