Last night was a big one for Air Force 1 fans, as the news leaked that multiple legendary pairs would be landing in 2024. Amongst them, the Nike Air Force 1 “Linen” is expected to make its long-awaited comeback, and this time you might actually be able to get your hands on it.
Originally released all the way back in 2001, the “Linen” Air Force 1 Low formed part of Nike’s Co.JP series, making it exclusive to Japan. Dressed up in a crowd-pleasing colourway, the pair features tumbled leather uppers that give it an ultra-premium aesthetic. In terms of colour blocking, the titular hue takes over the base, while blush pink accents hit the Swoosh, Air midsole branding and outsole, and a classic white AF1 sole unit sits underfoot.
Marking its first foray out of its home country, a small run of the shoe was later produced in 2016 to celebrate the opening of KITH’s Miami store, but overall the “Linen” AF1 remains ultra-limited. It’s now been reported that the pair will return in 2024, although we’re still yet to get a first look at the retro version. In the meantime, hold tight for updates, and be sure to hit the ‘Notify me’ button below to set your release reminders way ahead of the drop.
