While it retains the classic leather and suede construction that the AF1 is known for, the "Black Gum" switches things up a bit. Right away, you'll find a velcro strap that wraps around the heel for the ultimate lockdown fit, while a doubled stacked Nike Air midsole gives the shoe some extra height which quite literally takes it to another level.

Towards the medials, you'll find semi-transparent panelling that was once used for many of Virgil Abloh's Off-White x Nike collaborations, and rounding it all off is a brown gum rubber outsole, finalising the simple yet striking design.
