There are countless sneaker releases we're sure you've all missed out on especially if you're new to the scene and one of those would be the Nike Air Huarache "Scream Green" from 1991. Having said that, you should start counting your blessings this year as the Oregon based sportswear giant is bringing back the pair and here's everything that we know so far!
Initially introduced in 1991 by none other than legendary Tinker Hatfield, the "Scream Green" was one of the OG colorways of the Air Huarache silhouette. All thanks to the neoprene-crafted upper, the shoes rapidly became one of the Swoosh brand's best-selling silhouette widely loved for its sock-like fit.
Very much like the retroed version in 2014 which you might have also missed, the kicks are returning with all the traditional features that we all know and love. Beautifully coating the tumbled leather exoskeleton caging midfoot is a pristine white tone, joined with a "Hyper Royal" and "Scream Green" neoprene base that is guaranteed to be an instant head-turner anywhere you go. Elevating the look with a pop of contrast is a stealthy black hue that falls on the classic circular emblem on the tongue and the semi-translucent rubber element on the heel for that signature Nike Air Huarache aesthetic that's iconic as ever. All this sits atop a compression-moulded Phylon midsole that not only delivers an insane amount of comfort and cushioning but also extreme flexibility that allows the Huaraches to be worn for running purposes.
Set to drop in the next coming weeks via Nike's SNKRS app and select retailers globally, make sure you keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop the Nike Air Huarache "Scream Green" and while you're here, the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low Spring/Summer 2021 is dropping this week!
