After making its way to the legendary Air VaporMax last month, Nike is now giving the iconic Air Max 720 an ISPA makeover. Short for “Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt”, the ISPA line is known for its rugged and ready designs that dip into the realm of futurism, and with the wet and windy months just around the corner, there's never been a better time to release an AM720 that's ready to tackle the elements.
Making its debut in 'Summit White' and 'Black' flavours, the Air Max 720 ISPA features a synthetic upper that's peppered with mesh circles for the ultimate breathing experience without compromising on weather resistance. An asymmetrical tongue features for a trail-shoe like aesthetic, and down below, you'll find the silhouette's signature Air midsole. Measuring at a hefty 38mm thick, this is the Swoosh's chunkiest unit yet. It's also crafted from over 70% recycled material, and embellished with the recognisable rivets from the React Element 55 and React Element 87.
Other design details that are worthy of mentioning include the "ISPA"; branding on the tongue tab, a rubberised heel pull tab, and a “Contains High Pressure Nitrogen” graphic that makes its way to the back of the shoe.
If you love the Nike Air Max 720 ISPA as much as we do, you'll be happy to find out that it's set to launch on September 7th. A must cop for the autumn months, make sure you stay tuned for more release info as it develops!
