The Nike Air Max 90 "Infrared" Receives a GORE-TEX Makeover

As arguably one of the most revered Air Max 90 silhouettes of all time, the "Infrared" to many was already as close to perfect as one might get. With that said, with Nike on a quest for innovation, it would appear the iconic colourway is about to get an upgrade.

In line for the cooler months, Nike has prepared a GORE-TEX rendition of the "Infrared," equipping this timeless silhouette with waterproof and durable characteristics. Built to challenge rain, snow, sleet and just about everything in between, the GORE-TEX "Infrared" will no doubt prove itself a must-cop from Air Max fans, both new and old.

Classic fans on the colourway need not worry - in somewhat of a stroke of genius, Nike has managed to maintain all of the original colour blocking and design notes of the "Infrared." From what we can spot, the only key difference arrives in the form of a "GORE-TEX" sign-off atop each tongue - a worthy trade-off, if you ask us.
