Following the release of the 'Side A/Side B' collection back in June, the Swoosh is back with another musically-minded sneaker, this time with the Nike Air Max 90 'Vinyl'. Inspired by the phonograph record that's been around since the 1800s as is still as popular as ever, here's everything that you need to know.
The first thing that you will notice about the 'Vinyl' is the tiny disc that's present on the tongue complete with a slightly rotated Nike logo. Coloured in a black and red palette for a timeless look, a special 3D-casted mudguard also makes an appearance, paying homage to the the grooves found on records.
Down below, an Air infused midsole is present coloured in an icy blue hue for a pop of contrast, and this is lined with a slither of translucent rubber, finalising the iconic design.
Scheduled to drop this weekend on August 24th from a wide range of retailers, the Nike Air Max 90 'Vinyl' is just one of the many special AM90s to drop on the run up to the silhouette's 30th anniversary celebrations. Will you be adding these to your collection? Be sure to let us know!
