Following on from the first AM95 “Running Club” colourway a brand-new variant has been unveiled in the form of the Nike Air Max 95 “AMRC” Black Blue. Decked out in a suitable dark-blue look, the pair pays homage to the early days of the Nike brand through a fictional running club. Nike was founded by Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman, both keen track athletes, to fill a gap in the market when it came to running shoes.
Running and athletics has since remained at the core of the brand, therefore many releases over the years have paid homage to the sport. The pair is crafted from plenty of different fabrics including hairy suede, canvas, and even synthetics. Different shades of blue take on the wavy appearance of the silhouette, while white embroidered mini-Swooshes are present on the heels.
A vintage-style tongue is present, showing exposed foam padding, while retro orange Nike Swoosh logos also make an appearance. Embroidered tabs on each sneaker read “BVRTN, OR”, paying homage to Beaverton, Oregon, Nike’s original home. A white midsole rounds things off, concealing several visible Nike Air Max units and a black outsole.
If you’re liking the look of the Nike Air Max 95 “AMRC” Deep Royal, then the good news is that they’re set for release on the 18th November, so you shouldn’t have to wait too much longer if you’re looking to get your hands on the pair. In the meantime, make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest sneaker news and updates as it happens, as we’ll be the first to let you know.
