A few days ago, we unveiled that Nike won't be dropping any sneakers on Air Max Day this year. With that said, many sneakerheads were wondering when the hotly anticipated Nike Air Max 97 'Neon Seoul' will be releasing, and now, we have an updated launch date!
One of the winning designs from the Nike On Air contest, the 'Neon Seoul' was created by graphic designer Gwang Shin. As its name suggests, the runner is inspired by the hustle and bustle of the South Korean capital, paying homage to the country's flag through the use of red, blue, and white tones. Painted predominantly in a matte black shade, a silver Swoosh shoots down the lateral side panel for that unmistakably Nike aesthetic.
Now, for that all-important release date. Since the Nike Air Max 97 'Neon Seoul' won't be dropping on Air Max Day anymore, it's been moved to April 13th - just a little over two weeks later. Let us know if you'll be grabbing a pair, and while you're here, be sure to take a look at the full Nike sneaker range!
