The Nike Air More Uptempo GS "Bone Beige" Brings Heat to Small Feet

It’s good news for Air More Uptempo fans this morning! Having recently been revealed in toddler sizes, it’s looking like the dreamiest Air More Uptempo GS “Bone Beige” is set to release in grade-school sizing too! That means if you’re size UK 6 or below you’re in luck, and who doesn’t need another old-school style sneaker in their shoedrobe?

Originally released in 1996, the Air More Uptempo is easily one of the best examples of classic 90s sneakers. Whilst brands like Jordan were moving away from Swoosh logos at the time, the Air More Uptempo wore its branding loud and proud. Easily identified by the “AIR” script along its sidewalls, it was said that the shoe’s design was inspired by graffiti and pop art, which was popular at the time. But the bold and chunky letting isn’t solely decorative. The bulky upper allows for more support to be built into the top of the sneaker, and the script design actually follows the rise of the Nike Air cushioning from the front to the heel.

The “Bone Beige” GS Air More Uptempo stays true to all these 90s details, with a colour palette that would remain timeless in any decade. Starting off with a premium “Bone” leather base, key details like the mesh tongue, pull tab and lacing system have been styled in off white to match. The “AIR” lettering also appears in “Bone,” with grey shadows allowing them to stand against the off white upper. Tonal branding hits are served up in the form of the Nike Swoosh embroidered on the toe, and jelly Swoosh on the heel. The Air More Uptempo “Bone Beige” is then finished with a white midsole, topped off by a “Beige” outsole to round off the colour scheme.

We’re still yet to hear of a release date for the “Bone Beige” Nike Air More Uptempo GS, but we reckon it won’t be long until we’re spotting this super-clean pair all over our Insta feeds.
