After getting a brief glimpse earlier this year, the long-awaited Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% finally has a release date. Originally unleashed as part of the Swoosh's Olympics rollout, since the Games have been postponed until next summer, we're now getting these a lot sooner than previously expected!
Worn by the great Eliud Kipchoge when he broke the two hour marathon barrier last year, the Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% is being touted as the world's fastest running shoe. With a breathable Atomknit upper, this is paired with an insanely chunky ZoomX foam midsole that's infused with a full-foot carbon fibre Flyplate and two Zoom Air pucks under the forefoot for added
In terms of aesthetics, the upper is painted in an all-black palette while a massive Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral sides extending towards the toe box. You'll also find vibrant bubbles at the forefoot complete with "Air Zoom" branding, finishing off the design.
