Back in September, the Nike Air Max 720 was given a pretty rugged ISPA rework. Now, the legendary silhouette is dabbling in deconstruction through the Swoosh's D/MS/X line. A range that explores what the shoe would look like in a parallel universe, the Air Max 720 Waves is unlike anything that you've seen before.
Elevating the shoe's already-futuristic aesthetic, the Waves puts a huge emphasis on graphics and patterns. Replacing the original's engineered mesh upper with a synthetic material, various grids and circles are stitched on for a trippy look that's sure to turn heads. With that said, this shoe doesn't compromise on premium materials, infusing the tongue, heel, and toe box with tumbled leathers that are smooth and soft to the touch.
Down below, you'll find the conventional chunky Nike Air unit from the AM720, but it's now lined with a grippy rubber outsole for added traction and durability. The colour of the tread depends on which colourway you cop, with the black pair dipped in green and the white one keeping it clean.
If the Nike D/MS/X Air Max 720 Waves is right up your alley, then you'll be glad to find out that they're dropping on October 26th! Let us know if you'll be copping, and be sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for the latest and greatest sneaker news and releases!
