Nike loves taking classics and giving them a revamp. Last week we took our first look at the "Reverse Mesa Orange" which was an inverted take on the 2002 icon, and now, we're getting a sneak peek at the Nike Dunk Low "Reverse Argon" which has done the exact same thing with an early 2000s CO.JP drop.
Arriving in a beautiful blue hue, the "Reverse Argon" features a full leather construction that's soft and smooth to the touch. The base is dipped in a light blue while panels of a darker tone wrap around the heel, toebox, and lacing system. Like the OG Dunk that this is inspired by, the Swoosh and laces have been dipped in a crisp white for a contrast that is sure to turn heads wherever you go.
While the Beaverton brand could've left the outsole white and called it a day, they've actually complemented it with the rest of the upper. This is the type of attention to detail that makes this basketball silhouette so popular even four decades later.
The Nike Dunk Low "Un-Argon" is set to drop later this year, so make sure you sit tight and keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know what you think of this twist on a classic, and in related news, the Nike Dunk Low "White" takes things back to basics!
