The Nike Mac Attack OG Is Rumoured to Return This Year

Nike is delving into its extensive archives in 2023, with one of the first silhouettes set to receive a retro being the Nike Mac Attack OG. Originally launched in 1984 as a signature sneaker for tennis legend John McEnroe, the silhouette has never received a retro release, and has been in high-demand since the likes of Travis Scott and LeBron James have been pictured wearing vintage pairs. Reportedly launching in Summer 2023, the kicks showcase the OG colourway that offers up a grey base layer accentuated with hits of black. Key features include checkerboard branding on the tongues, Swoosh logos on either side and vintage-style toe boxes.

Set atop a white midsole unit, the Mac Attack doesn’t seem to use any Air technology, so we’ll have to wait and see how the comfort levels perform.
