In 1984, Michael Jordan changed the sneaker game for good with the release of the Air Jordan 1 "Black Toe". One of the most iconic colourways that the AJ1 has ever seen, it looks like the Beaverton brand are set to mirror this legendary energy onto another fan-favourite silhouette with the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low "Black Toe" - and here's everything that we know so far!
Currently at the sample stage, this Dunk Low is exactly what it says on the tin. Featuring a smooth, premium leather construction, the "Black Toe" works atop a crisp white base. The heel is painted in red while the toebox and Nike Swoosh are both dipped in black, just like the OG from the '80s.
Of course, this certainly isn't the first time that this has been done. Back in 2020, the Oregon athletics company released the Nike SB Dunk Low "Chicago" which was inspired by the OG Air Jordan 1 "Chicago". This colourway continues to sell for a pretty penny even two years later.
The Nike SB Dunk Low "Black Toe" is expected to release later this year, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know if you'll be adding these to your rotation, and while you're here, you might as well take an on-foot look at the Gnarhunters x Nike SB Dunk Low "Black"!
