The Nike SB Dunk Low “Chicago” is the latest installment in the highly-coveted “J-Pack” from Nike’s dedicated skateboarding range, that honours OG Jordan 1 colourways. Modelled on the 1985 classic Chicago AJ1, this is likely to be the hottest SB Dunk we’ll see this year.
While the rest of the J-Pack are crafted from a blend of fabrics including suede and synthetics, the Chicago rendition seen here looks set to be crafted from premium leather all round, taking it even closer to the OG Air Jordan we all know and love.
The neat colour-blocking consists of red, white and black, and it looks better than ever on the hugely-popular SB Dunk Low, a model that’s received a tonne of love this year due to high-heat collaborations with both Travis Scott and Ben & Jerry’s.
Nike’s iconic Swoosh logo runs across both the lateral and medial sides of the silhouette, with additional branding present at the tongue and heel. Skateboarding-centric details such as excessive padding and the ankle and tongue are featured to make sure that these are also fully capable of dealing with the high-impact sport.
If you’re already as excited as we are over the Nike SB Dunk Low “Chicago”, the good news is that the pair are set to receive a release over the coming weeks. While we don’t have an official date yet, there’s a chance these could drop randomly at retailers like many SB Dunks as of late. In the meantime, keep it locked right here at The Sole Supplier to maximise your chances of copping, and check out the release date for the Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 4!
