Even though the Lunar New Year is still a while away, February 12th to be exact, we're already getting a sneak peek at some of the Beaverton brand's festive offerings, including the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low "Chinese New Year"! While CNY-inspired sneakers are certainly nothing new, this one is unlike anything we've seen before.
Mismatched to perfection, the "Chinese New Year" is done up with a variety of floral prints and patterns, with the left shoe painted in a cream, green, and yellow palette while the right shoe opts for a blue, orange, and red one. The former features a fuzzy suede toe box and a heavily textured lateral panel, while the latter blings things up a bit with a metallic gold leather toe and subtly protruding dots on the side.
A Nike Swoosh shoots across both shoes, and you can't talk about this Dunk Low without mentioning the heel that's embroidered with the Chinese character for "eat" - a reference to the year of the ox.
Expected to drop at the start of next year, the Nike SB Dunk Low "Chinese New Year" is a definite must-have! Make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop, and while you're here, you might as well take a closer look at the Nike SB Dunk Low "Club 58"!
