After a ton of leaks and teasers and a little bit of controversy, the long-awaited Nike SB Dunk Low "Sashiko" is finally dropping this weekend! First teased as the "Denim Gum" earlier this year, it pays homage to the traditional Japanese embroidery technique that dates back to the early 1600s.
Arriving in a double denim make-up, the "Sashiko" features a two-tone "Mystic Navy" colour palette. Cross-shaped perforations arrive on the toe box, while stitched outlines make their way to the lateral and medial side panels, resulting in a seriously sartorial aesthetic.
Zig zag needlework adorns the Nike SB tongue tag, and moving down below, you'll be presented with a white midsole that's as clean as it gets. To round it all off, a slither of gum rubber can also be found, finalising the classic-meets-contemporary design.
While the Nike SB Dunk Low "Denim" may not be for everyone, it's a pair that you definitely do not want to miss out on! Launching exclusive in Europe on August 1st, make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier if you want a pair! While you're here, take a closer look at the Nike Dunk Low SP "Lemon Wash"!
