Nike’s Waffle technology is nothing new, in fact, it was one of the first ever technologies used by the brand when co-founder Bill Bowerman first conceptualised the idea, creating prototypes using his wife’s waffle iron. Since then, the iconic sole unit has continued to prove popular amongst footwear fans worldwide, and now Nike is planning to launch a brand-new silhouette titled the Nike Waffle Debut.

Previewed here in four new colourways, the pair appears to be visually similar to the subsequently popular Nike Waffle One that first launched back in 2021. The streamlined design offers a retro look and feel while modern construction materials and technologies are used, making sure that these are more than up to the job of acting as daily beaters.

They look set to be crafted from a variety of fabric panels including suede, athletic mesh and leather, meaning they’re both comfortable and durable, while Nike’s signature Swoosh logo makes an appearance on both the lateral and medial sides. Vintage style branding takes pride of place on the tongues while a large pull tab is located on the heels, with this all placed on top of the classic waffle sole unit.

If you’re looking at getting your hands on any of the upcoming colourways of the Nike Waffle Debut, the good news is that you can expect to see the silhouette launch in the coming months.
