After collaborating with the likes of sacai, Nike and HUMAN MADE in 2021, it's safe to say KAWS had quite the year! As 2022 gets off to a fresh start, it seems Brian Donnelly is keen to replicate the success of the last juncture by kicking things off with a KAWS x The North Face collaboration.
The news broke just minutes ago on the KAWS account with a duo of photos and a caption reading, "I’ve been working on this one for a long time. Happy to finally be able to share it with you!".
In the first photo, we see two camouflaged editions of what appears to be The North Face's 1986 Mountain Jacket silhouette. The first edition sports a black and grey camouflaged base accentuated by bright red shoulder panels complete with KAWS' signature "XX" motif. The jacket underneath is obscured by the first piece, but seems to sport the same design in a pink colourway with contrasting black panels.
It's unclear exactly when this KAWS x The North Face collaboration is set to arrive, but rumours are pointing towards it being an extensive collection. Keep it locked in right here for all the latest. In other news, rumours of a Supreme x BAPE collection appear.
