The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 "Sail" is Launching Later This Year
Virgil Abloh's Off-White x Air Jordan 5 "Black" made its debut earlier this year, and is undoubtedly one of his best creations yet. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, it introduced the perfect amount of deconstruction to the legendary silhouette. Now, we're getting news that the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 "Sail" could be launching later this year, and here's what we know so far!
Unveiled by the Off-White founder himself back in February, the "Sail" was previously dubbed the "Plot Twist". Painted in a clean cream hue, the upper does away with the usual leather construction, instead opting for a series of synthetic panels for an avant-garde aesthetic.
Transparent circles are peppered throughout the upper which can be cut out, while the Louis Vuitton Menswear Designer's signature quoted text also make an appearance here.

Moving downwards, you'll find a Nike Air unit encapsulated within the AJ5's signature P-51 Mustang-inspired midsole, and to round it all off, the number "23" is printed on the heel, referencing Michael Jordan's iconic jersey number.
According to sneaker insider @pyleaks, the Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 5 "Sail" is set to drop sometime this holiday season in full family sizes. Let us know if you'll be going for a pair, and while you're here, be sure to take your best look yet at the Off-White x Nike Rubber Dunk "University Gold"!
