When we first caught a glimpse of the Off-White x Nike Air Max 90 "University Red" back in December 2018, we knew right away that it was a must cop. After a ton of leaks and more rumours, our hope for an actual release was slowly dwindling, but now, it looks like the hotly anticipated Virgil Abloh sneaker could finally be dropping, and saying we're hyped is an understatement!
Following the same winning formula as the Louis Vuitton Menswear Designer's other AM90s, the "University Red" is painted in a fiery shade with "Bright Mango" hitting the lateral and medial side Swoosh and "Hyper Jade" accents featuring throughout for additional contrast. Decked out in a series of ultra premium materials, it sits on top of an Air midsole that's as comfortable as it gets.
According to Sneaker Files, Virgil will be dropping the "University Red" in celebration of the model's thirtieth anniversary. He'll also be launching the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 "Black Metallic" to commemorate three decades of that model as well, so it's safe to say that he's got a pretty busy year ahead.
Now for that all-important release date. If you want the Off-White x Nike Air Max 90 "University Red" in your collection, rumour has it that it'll be dropping sometime this summer. A specific date has yet to be confirmed, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for the latest updates! In related news, the Nike "Double Swoosh" Collection oozes with Off-White vibes!
